Discover Canada Tours (formerly Club ESL Tours) is pleased to introduce Aboriginal Tours into their 2010 & 2011 tour program. Guests can enjoy a 3-day package to Vancouver Island, with an emphasis on Canada's First Nations culture and outdoor activities. The tour highlights include Aboriginal dance performances, legends shared by qualified Aboriginal guides with a large knowledge of their native culture, and several outdoor activities, including canoeing and rock climbing. Guests will stay in the Strathcona Lodge, a wilderness resort consisting of log and timber framed chalets overlooking the shores of Upper Campbell Lake and a procession of snow-capped mountain peaks. First Nations themed whale watching or marine-life viewing tours are available as a year round optional activity, and from April until May grizzly tours can be added to the itinerary. Extended tours, as well as fully customized tours are available upon request.
