Day 1 - A Journey Through East Vancouver's Secret Art Scene and an Introduction to the Davie Village Area

  • Begin the tour in Vancouver's historic Chinatown with a visit to Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden to experience a Chinese brush-painting course in the gardens.
  • Then, it's off to Parker Street in the East End to discover many talented and internationally renowned artists of all trades at the unique Parker Street studios.
  • Once in the area, explore private artist studios along Keefer and East Pender streets. This part of town is relatively unknown and yet it hosts one of Vancouver's liveliest artistic communities.
  • Take a walk and stop for a coffee along Commercial Drive, better known as "the Drive," for a unique slice of West Coast action.
  • Transfer to scenic English Bay near downtown for a casual lunch at the Boathouse Restaurant.
  • The afternoon is filled with shopping and people watching on eclectic Denman Street, one of the core streets of the West End, and the nearby Davie Village area.
  • For dinner, enjoy a deluxe transfer and Dine Around at Vancouver's top table restaurants for the ultimate introduction to the city's best chefs and sommeliers.
  • In the evening, explore Davie Village where a wild night out awaits.

Day 2 - Hands-on Cooking, Tasting and Trends Sampling and a Night Out in Davie Village

  • The day begins with an early morning visit to the largest flower market on the Pacific Coast. See local merchants bargaining for their fresh and edible flowers, which are available year-round.
  • Have breakfast and coffee at a trendy market in Yaletown for a real experience of unique smells and tastes.
  • Next, it's off to a local's favourite, the Granville Island Public Market to meet local farmers and producers.
  • Enjoy lunch and a cooking demonstration at the Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts and meet future celebrity chefs.
  • Have dinner on Denman Street at the popular Raincity Grill restaurant.
  • The evening ends with dancing at one of the city's most popular gay and lesbian nightclubs in Davie Village.
