Theatre Under The Stars returns this summer with two ever popular productions, Annie and Thoroughly Modern Millie. Playing on alternating nights from July 10 to August 22.

BYPASS THE LINE - Print your own tickets and bypass the box office. After selecting and purchasing your tickets online, print them out and at the theatre go straight to the ticket taker. If you are unable to print your tickets you can pick them up in advance at Tickets Tonight or prior to the performance at the theatre box office.

OPEN 1 1/2 HOURS BEFORE THE SHOW - Garden café and theatre seating are now open 1 1/2 hours prior to the performance. Come down to Stanley Park early, settle into your seats and enjoy our on-site services including light meals.

“Annie” takes place in 1932, the height of the depression, and tells the outrageously funny story of a spunky redheaded orphan who escapes an orphanage searching for her parents but sadly is caught and returned. Her luck changes, as billionaire Oliver Warbucks invites Annie to his house for Christmas and the two hit it off and Annie wins his heart Some of the hit songs from the show are “It’s a Hard Knock Life” and the well known hit, “Tomorrow”. Of course there is the happy ending with Daddy Warbuck’s adopting adorable Annie and her dog Sandy. This is the perfect family musical that will have you excited about the possibilities of ‘tomorrow’.

“Thoroughly Modern Millie” is high-spirited musical romp that has all of New York dancing the Charleston. It is the story of a small-town girl, Millie Dillmount, who comes to New York City in 1922 at the height of the Wall Street boom. She bobs her hair, assumes the modern look of a "flapper," and is determined to marry for money instead of love – a thoroughly modern aim in 1922 when women were just entering the workforce. The show is filled with great songs, fabulous dance numbers and of course, a great love story.

All sales final. No refunds. Tickets are only valid for the date printed on ticket. Exchanges only in the event of a rainout.

RAINOUT POLICY:
In the event of a performance being cancelled due to extreme weather, tickets will be exchanged for the best available seats within the equivalent price category for any upcoming performance. Rainout exchanges are only available through the on-site TUTS box office.

Theatre Under the Stars is easily accessible by public transit from downtown Vancouver.

Step 1 Board the #19 Stanley Park electric bus on Pender Street in downtown Vancouver.

Step 2 Ride to the end of the line in Stanley Park.

Step 3 Walk the short distance from the bus loop to the Malkin Bowl.


DRIVING DIRECTIONS
From downtown Vancouver:
Drive on Georgia Street northbound, towards Stanley Park in the right hand lane. As you enter Stanley Park, you will come up to a round-about. Drive straight thru roundabout, past the Rose Garden sign and take first right. Theatre signage will be directly in front of you. Continue along road past The Stanley Park Dining Pavilion for parking in front of the Children's Zoo.

Driving from the North Shore:
Come over the Lions Gate Bridge, pass through Stanley Park and turn around at Denman Street.
Head back towards Stanley Park and follow the above directions.

PARKING:

Children's Zoo Parking:
From the round-about take the second right hand exit onto Pipeline Rd, drive past the turn off to Malkin Bowl on your right and the Horse Barn Parking Lot on your left. Take the next right hand turn into the Children’s Zoo Parking Lot.

Horse Barn Parking:
From the round-about take the second right hand exit onto Pipeline Rd, drive past the turn off to Malkin Bowl on your right. Take the next left hand turn into the Horse Barn Parking Lot.

Stanley Park Dr. Parking:
From the round-about take the first right hand exit onto Stanley Park Drive and carry on 100m. Take the next left hand turn into the Stanley Park Dr. Parking Lot.

SPECIAL NEEDS DROP-OFF & PARKING
From the round-about take the second right hand exit onto Pipeline Rd, drive approximately 100 meters and take your first right toward Malkin Bowl. This will take you the drop off point for Malkin Bowl and special needs parking. From the drop off point you can carry on to the Children’s Zoo Parking Lot..
