Music in Internment
Co-presented with the Vancouver Holocaust Education Centre, a live musical performance that connects audiences to the internment of "enemy aliens" in England and Canada during the Second World War.
SHOFAR and the Olga Mieleszczuk Ensemble
SHOFAR, from Poland, combines Hasidic music and free jazz and carries on many of the Jewish musical traditions still alive today. Olga Mieleszczuk Ensemble focuses on Jewish music of Ashkenazi roots.
