VanDusen Botanical Garden presents The Festival of Lights

During December, VanDusen Garden is decorated with hundreds of thousands of lights for the Festival of Lights.

Enjoy the twinkling lights and light show, take a stroll down Candy Cane Lane, hear the sweet sounds of caroling, and get in to the spirit of the season.

Highlights include
Santa's Living Room (7 December to 24 December, 2012) - Santa makes an appearance at 5:30pm, 6:30pm, 7:30pm, and 8:30pm each day
Christmas Gnomes (Svend and Jens) in the Centre Court 
Dancing Lights on Livingstone Lake - starts at 4:30pm
Gingerbread Wood 
Golden Chain Walk
Community choir concerts on the deck
Make-a-wish candle shrine
Candy Cane Lane
Sparkling spruce in the centre court 
Candy Cane Express model train

NOTE: In the case of heavy snow storms or other extraordinary weather conditions: please call the Admissions Desk at 604-257-8463 to confirm that FOL has not been closed for that one evening.

The event will proceed rain or shine so please dress accordingly.

Directions: The Visitor Centre is located at 5151 Oak Street at West 37th Avenue. There’s plenty of free parking or take the #17 Oak bus right to the door.

Time: 4:30 to 9:00 pm every night (except December 25 when the garden is closed)
