Which events have half price tickets?
The performances available for half-price change every day. Availability can be viewed online on the day of a performance or by calling the Info Line at 604.684.2787 (recorded message) after 6:30 pm the previous evening. We also send out a daily email and update our Facebook Page and Twitter feed regularly. Tickets are sold on a first come, first served basis, starting at 8:30 am, and can only be purchased in-person at the Tickets Tonight booth at 200 Burrard Street. Please note that half-price inventory is limited, and ticket purchases are limited to a maximum of 4 per customer. Most matinee sales stop at 12 noon, and most evening performances go off at 4:00 pm.
Where is Tickets Tonight?
Tickets Tonight is located in the Tourism Vancouver Visitor Centre at Plaza Level, 200 Burrard Street. We are located just across the street from Canada Place at the corner of Burrard and Canada Place Way and easily accessible by SkyTrain and SeaBus, via Waterfront Station. Tickets Tonight is pet-friendly and wheel chair accessible.
When is Tickets Tonight open?
The Tickets Tonight booth is open daily 8:30am until 6:00pm. We are also open most holidays! Please note that most half-price ticket sales end at 4:00pm for evening shows, 12 noon for matinees.
What event tickets can I purchase in advance?
Tickets Tonight is an authorized Ticketmaster retail outlet. All venues and events registered with Ticketmaster are available for purchase in-person at Tickets Tonight. Many independent box offices also choose to have their tickets available through Tickets Tonight, and we are a full-service box office as well. We work with local producers to ensure the availability of as many shows as possible for our guests. If for some reason Tickets Tonight does not have tickets available, we can assist the customer with purchasing directly from the producer.
Can I order tickets over the phone?
Yes, full price tickets can be purchased by phone. Our ticket purchase phone number is 604-684-2787. Our telephone line is open
Monday to Friday 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Saturday 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
We suggest that you arrive at least 30 minutes before the show to receive your tickets and get your seat, as many theatres do not allow latecomers into their venues.
For select events, you may choose "print-at-home" as your delivery method. You would then be able to print your tickets on regular computer paper directly from the confirmation email by clicking on the link provided. You may also access your tickets via the My Account section on ticketstonight.ticketforce.com. Your Print@Home ticket will be scanned for a single entrance at the event, preventing duplicate attempts to enter on the same ticket.
For a limited number events, you may be able to choose mobile delivery. You will receive a QR code for each 'ticket' which will be scanned at the entrance at the event, preventing duplicate attempts to enter on the same ticket. Mobile tickets may be easily sent to a friend, the link is under the quick reference code.
A very limited number of events may have mail as an option for delivery. We mail your tickets to the address provided within one week. We typically do not encourage mailing tickets for security reasons.
Please note that your delivery method cannot be changed after your purchase is completed.
Why are print-at-home and mobile delivery not available on all events?
These delivery methods are not available on all events because it requires the venue or promoter to secure the scanning equipment, a cost which some may not be able to justify. It is, however, becoming more common and you should see an increase in its use in the months ahead.
What age constitutes 'senior'? 'Student'?
Typically, a senior is anyone 65+ years of age, students are anyone with student ID, and children are people aged 12 and younger. Please email email@example.com for specifics on your event if you are unsure.
When you're choosing your own seats the stage or performance space is always 'north' (i.e. the top of your web browser). Although we make every effort to find seating maps with the same orientation, many of them face the other way. Please remember that the stage is 'north' when you're selecting your seats to get the best available line of sight!

Ticket quantities may be limited. To ensure you have the greatest selection we recommend:
- Getting to the booth as early as possible; generally around 8:30am for Friday and Saturday.
- Reviewing the day's selections ahead of time on the infoline, or online at http://www.ticketstonight.ca/half-price-tickets
- Having an alternate show in mind if your first choice isn't available - be sure to check the posters and rack cards at the booth.
Please note that half price quantities are limited, and promoters may choose to provide half price inventory in specific price points or areas only.
All sales are final. Each show will have certain conditions, which should be reviewed before any purchase of tickets. Refunds are made only if an event is cancelled by the producer, presenter, or artist. Refunds are subject to the policy of the venue or producer of the event, and are net of all transaction fees.
Every ticket we sell includes a service fee, including half-price tickets. Service charges assist us in covering staffing and administration costs at Tickets Tonight. The base ticket price is returned to the producer of the show.
Whenever possible, we will quote you the price including all tax and fees. Experience has taught us that our customers prefer to know what they'll be paying! Online, prices will list included fees. We are able to provide breakdown of fees upon request for in person sales.

Tickets Tonight Information line
Call our Tickets Tonight Information line (604.684.2787), to hear a recorded message listing the half price shows on sale. Please note - the Info line is updated by 6:30 pm each day with the next day's listings, and may be updated throughout the day, however there may be times when a show sells out or a new show is added, and the infoline may not reflect this change.
Visit us in person at the Tickets Tonight booth, located at Visitor Centre, Plaza Level, 200 Burrard Street, where the show board lists half-price tickets and our friendly and knowledgeable staff can assist you with the variety of events on sale.
Tickets Tonight uses an Arizona-based company, TicketForce, to transact sales on our web site. All financial transactions take place on a secure server and are transmitted immediately to an encrypted secure database. Please see the security policy for more detailed information.
Most of the time, there is only one employee on duty. Since s/he is not able to serve customers at the booth and on the phone concurrently, we do not take any calls at the booth. We have a call centre for ticket purchases by phone, and an information line with recorded half-price listings, hours of operation, and location. Please check the Contact Us page for email, fax, and mail addresses if you need to contact Tickets Tonight.

How do I subscribe/unsubscribe from the daily email?
If you are currently an email subscriber, there is a link at the bottom of each daily email where you may unsubscribe. If you have any questions or concerns, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will respond within 24 hours.
If you'd like to be added to our daily email subscriber list, you may sign up on the website directly. Any staff member can also add you to the daily email; feel free to drop us a line or stop in to the booth and say hi.

We are located at 200 Burrard St., inside the Tourism Vancouver Visitor Centre. The Visitor Centre is located inside Waterfront Centre, which occupies an entire city block between West Cordova and Howe, Canada Place Way and Burrard Street. The Tickets Tonight booth is close to the northwest-most corner of that block.The best entrance is the north-facing door off Canada Place Way.
Please note that the Visitor Centre is not connected to the rest of Waterfront Centre on the inside of the building, but there are two doors from the outside in to the Visitor Centre. If you're coming in to Waterfront Station on the Expo or Millenium lines, you can walk directly into Waterfront Centre from the platform. Exit by the security desk in the lobby, and the Visitor Centre is around the corner on your right, just past Rogue!
The door closest to the Tickets Tonight booth is just up the stairs outside from the Tim Horton's in the Waterfront Centre food court.

What forms of payment do you accept?
Online, you may pay with credit card: American Express, MasterCard, or Visa. At our 200 Burrard Street location, we also accept Tickets Tonight Gift Certificates, debit cards, and cash for ticket purchases.

Absolutely. Whenever we are selling a show online with reserved seating, you click on the seat map to choose your own seats. Be sure to take a long look at the full map before you click in to a section, though - you'll want to make sure you know which row is closest to the stage for optimal lines of sight!
What is your relationship with Ticketmaster?
In order to offer our guests a breadth of products and efficient service, we have two Ticketmaster stations and two Tickets Tonight stations at our ticket booth in the Tourism Vancouver Visitor Centre.
At our Ticketmaster stations, you may purchase tickets to events sold by Ticketmaster, and pick up tickets you purchased by phone or online at ticketmaster.ca. Our Ticketmaster outlet accepts cash, debit, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Ticketmaster Gift Cards.
Sometimes producers who are selling tickets via Ticketmaster are included in our half-price listings. Whenever possible, we will advertise the price including any applicable service fees.
When picking up tickets, please bring photo ID and the card used to purchase. Only orders with Retail Outlet Pickup as the delivery method may be picked up at our Ticketmaster outlet. For more information, please visit ticketmaster.ca.
